Go With The Flow

When arriving at Go With The Flow luxury base camp you will be welcomed by the warm smiles of Brody and Cristina.

Brody Wilson a Maurelle Island local, born and raised, carries with him a deep connection to the land and ocean. He loves to share his intimate knowledge of the area and help people to feel at home in this wilderness wonderland. Cristina Fox has lived among the Discovery Islands since 1995. She fell in love with the natural beauty of the area- the flora and fauna, the mountains and sea life. Brody and Cristina met in 2000 and married in 2004. Brody had been working as a kayak guide for several summers and inspired Cristina to become a certified guide. Both of them have had a chance to travel to many exotic global destinations and guided abroad for two summers in New Zealand.

Go With The Flow Adventures was born from years of experience in the sea kayaking eco tourism world. The intension when creating Go With The Flow was to connect and recharge people, while making the adventure as effortless and comfortable as possible. After a long day of paddling a world class destination and dining on fresh local cuisine, a hot tub soak is just the thing to complete the ultimate luxury experience.

Solstua West

Upon arriving at North Rendezvous Island, guests are greeted with the warm hospitality of Solstua West hosts Karen & Peter Tonseth.

Karen, originally from England and Pete born in Norway, are international adventurers at heart having traveled extensively throughout Australia, Europe, the Arctic and beyond..

They met in Tahsis, on the west coast of Vancouver Island, where they spent their time kayaking the spectacular islands and inlets. Pete grew up on the water and his passion for sailing allowed he and Karen to live aboard their Coast 34 sailboat for over the next 10 years.

In 1993, while skiing on Mt. Washington, they discovered, what is now "Solstua West" on North Rendezvous Island. They loved the remoteness of the island and the dramatic backdrop of the coastal mountains framing it. Motivated to live off the grid and produce their own power and water, they initially built a small cabin as their land base, but soon left to fulfill another dream - to sail off shore

Today, Karen & Pete are proud to invite visitors from around the world to enjoy luxury camping and kayaking in the Discovery Islands.
